Let’s Talk Cancer
Let’s Talk Cancer is a free and accessible one-day symposium for grade 11 and 12 students interested in the world of cancer research. This event is hosted by the Canadian Cancer Society’s Research Information Outreach Team (RIOT) in partnership with Let’s Talk Science. Let’s Talk Cancer was established to facilitate knowledge transfer between academia and high school students regarding the field of cancer biology.
Students will have the chance to explore the different facets of cancer research and understand its interdisciplinary nature. They will learn how different disciplines like biology, chemistry, physics, engineering and math are all instrumental in advancing cancer research. Students will also interact with cancer researchers and learn first-hand from their experiences.
CaRL
CaRL (CCS at Research Labs) is a youth-focused knowledge exchange tool created by RIOT members.
Stay tuned for further opportunities to engage with CaRL!
